1st Quarter of the 20th Century (or earlier), likely a
Southern Elm (南榆树) 3-Panel Arhat Daybed. This
exquisite piece comes with a matching Kang table
(goes on top of the bed), both featuring elegantly curved
horse hoof feet.The panels of the daybed are ingeniously
attached via hidden slots, allowing them to be detached,
showcasing traditional Chinese craftsmanship with its no-nail
or hidden-nail construction. The daybed and table are in
pristine condition, including the intricate weavings.

Originally part of a prestigious Chinese private collection in
Singapore, this set exemplifies the rich heritage and
meticulous artistry of ancient Chinese furniture design.
