The visionary behind The Gallerist Company. A passionate collector and dealer of Asian antiquities and heritage furniture, he has built a reputation for sourcing rare and exceptional pieces that bridge history with modern luxury. His expertise has led The Gallerist Company to work alongside renowned auction houses, museums, and heritage hotels.
Known as the youngest dealer of antiquities in Asia, he has brought fresh energy and innovation to the fine arts and heritage industry.
His contributions to cultural preservation have not gone unnoticed—he was called “an inspiration to the preservation of cultural heritage” by the Executive Councillor for Creative Economy and Tourism of Penang.
His work in curating and promoting Peranakan art and antiques has played a crucial role in solidifying Penang’s position as a key center for Peranakan culture and heritage. Through his dedication, Ammar continues to champion the legacy of the region’s rich artistic and historical traditions, ensuring that heritage remains accessible and appreciated by future generations.
